Does anyone know the comp bands for AE1, AE2, AE3 and 4 are for U.S. external hires? The info is different per recruiter you talk to for the same roles despite what is posted on the job ads for Linkedin.

Also is the new policy 2 or 3 days in office? Or is that dependent on your manager?

From the last, it is not dependent of your manager. Each office created some type of in office days. Of course, there is some flexibility if you are travelling and visiting prospects.

About the salary, Linkedin works with 50/50 OTE. Salaries also vary depending on where you are. there are 4 zones pays. And each level has a band. for Example, an AE4 could be from 220k to 350k OTE. For an AE3, 180k to 320k.

Yeah as said below it's completely dependent on which city / region you are in. It might also differ by business units - LTS, LMS, LSS. San Fran / New York obviously a fair bit higher than anywhere else. No remote roles are offered at all anymore. First 6 months new hires - have to be in 3 days a week, no exceptions. Then 2 days a week. However - if you are in Sales, being with clients counts towards your 2/3 days so if you go for a meeting or a lunch then go home afterwards, that counts as one of your days. Once you have passed 6 months it is also very, very flexible and I have heard nothing to suggest that in Sales your office attendance is actually tracked.

Depends on where you live so essentially your pay zone and what pay band they put you in, for example Chicago is a pay zone 3 and I am an AE pay range being $127k ote to $182 but my pay is $160k due to not being in the last pay zone. New policy is 3 days for new hires for 6 months then 2 days

Not sure on the comp bands. But the sales org is meant to be in the office 2 days a week unless you are a new hire or are on a performance plan (or managing a new hire or someone on performance plans) then you have to be in 3 days a week.
