Current Employee In the past, LinkedIn was a great place to work. You could hit your sales goals, develop skills and were part of a great culture. The market shifted, LinkedIn made strategic decisions that seemingly have not paid off. The reps are considered the scapegoat in this case and the comp plans have been changing (for the worse) for the last three years. The quotas are higher and the payout for hitting/exceeding quota is lower. In compensation, I can attest to making $50k less than I did before the comp plans changes despite continuing to exceed my quota at similar rates. Much of the leadership has changed and it’s a culture of managing people out now. Many reps are fearful for their jobs daily not because of lack of effort or skill. As I said, this was once a wonderful place where LinkedIn would invest heavily in your development. Investing in talent and culture is no longer important at LinkedIn despite it being one of the solutions the organization sells to customers. Browse Other Reviews
