Back to ReviewsFormer Employee MEDITECH has been around for many years. Is respected in the industry but is losing marketshare. They have been trying to make headway in the large IDN space that has been dominated by Cerner and Epic without much luck. MEDITECH spent a significant investment in both time and capital to build out their latest version Expanse which seemed to only keep them relevant in the market. The time spent on the development of Expanse left them for a long time in the market with an outdated and antiquated solution which left them vulnerable to replacement by the competitors. MEDITECH is very "old school" remote employees are expected to work from home and working from a remote location such is Starbucks, a second home, etc. is frowned upon. Traditionally their entire sales force is in Boston, in the home office, in a cube, so they can micromanage them.
