Make sure you pick your manager very wisely. Quotas have been exploding, and many people are struggling to hit. They focus on metrics like email sent, events hosted, but don’t coach or get on calls with reps. With all that said, there are many opportunities with Cisco in networking and AI to create a career.

Meraki doesn’t exist as it did. It’s been merged into enterprise network and has lost all its benefits and gained all go Cisco downsides.

Strong product, generally attainable quotas, solid leadership, and good opportunities for advancement. Only downside is that there are some open questions about the future structure of the sales org and Meraki’s fit within Cisco.
