Northwestern Mutual operates as a franchise, where you are the business owner. I would not recommend this role if you are a late career changer, unless you have a deep rolodex of wealthy friends/former colleageus.

My overall experience was absolutely not worth my time or talent. I always find the silver lining and roll up my sleeves to learn and work hard at the opportunity in front of me. While I did bring value to the clients I worked with, the company and management do not provide the support or tools for their employees.
