Okta is a great company, and used to be a great sales org. As of recently, the commercial org made changes to a farmer/hunter split, and that has brought on significant challenges. The newer products are a tough sell for existing customers and lack a lot of critical features. The current customer role is battling churn, which makes it tough to extract ARR from a small account list. Quota is unattainable, and the new business team has half the quota that current customer AEs have.

ship has sailed on top performers being quickly promoted to AE. lot of leadership out of touch with no responsibility taken on botched reorg & gtm strategy from auth0 acquisition. Pros are pay is strong and benefits are good enough, lot of great people at the IC level, product is excellent.
