Former Employee The product is needed and can be well received. However, training is completely lacking. They invest nothing into training new employees. Because Business Development Representative is an entry level role they should invest more in training rather than just watch videos especially when the vendor they use for training has the capability to do role plays and things. The culture of the company is still very frat boy centered and lacks diversity. Leaders in different stages of the sales cycle are not confident in the BDR role and could potentially push to eliminate the role all together. And they don’t promote many BDRs to the AE position. Seeing long term BDRs shows a lack of support from management to grow within their career.
