I really have mixed opinions about orkin. I love my manager, which is great. Above him, however, it's a shit show. They insist on packing the office with WAY too many sales folk. The lead flow is abysmal. We're expected to "get creative" and upsell existing accounts damn near constantly. With this being exclusively B2C there is no real creative outreach. Just go through various lists of existing customers and hope they have issues.

Your experience at Orkin all depends on your branch manager. The comp plan doesn’t change which helps offset the low base pay you’re offered. The downside is you are extremely micromanaged from the division level down to the branch level. If your at the right branch, your technicians can get the work you sell done in a timely manner. But otherwise, if you sell allot you can be behind 2 weeks
