Former Employee Paycom is an HR/payroll software company in a very saturated market (competition includes ADP, Paylocity, Paychex, Paycor, UKG, and so on). The company compensates well on the base, and a higher commission status is obtainable after selling 10 deals, also known as Executive Rep. The work-life balance is a signficicant negative, and they ask reps to do multiple redundant tasks (most that could be achieved through an improved tech stack). The company is very micromanaged and has a high level of turnover. Lastly, they recently appointed a new CFO who incorporated new standards across the organization. For example, their is a heavy emphasis to be in person / in territory for about half of the week. They announced they will no longer reimburse the reps for gas & wear-and-tear on their vehicles. If you are young and starting out your sales career, a job here would be appealing for the base income & experience. However, I would warn anyone looking into this company to tread very cautiously before accepting a position. Browse Other Reviews
