Pluralsight had a great product in the past but unfortunately has been plagued by systemic incompetence in senior leadership and poor financial structuring. Approximately 1 major restructure every 6 months for last 4 years, with 10-20% of workforce gone each time. Decent base salaries for external hires into enterprise on a 50/50 split, but product market fit is fading, and the comp plan is built to nickel & dime / deceive you. Very strict travel & expense policy. Still some great people at this company and the ability to make money if you know the edtech space well, but the overall outlook is not positive.

Better culture than before, surprisingly. After the debt restructuring, leadership is being a lot more positive. Edtech is still in a touch place, no one is buying and very hard to hit quota. Inbounds are nonexistent. Good for a starting role, but definitely better industries to sell in. All in all, it's a decent company to work in and work for.

It was great until it wasn’t. Vista has slowly plugged in players in their culture to ensure it’s aligned to their needs. Went from being very customer focused, so money focused.
