Former Employee I was a boomerang employee, so I have two different experiences: my first stint as a BDR was incredible. I loved the company, even though a leader crossed professional lines towards the end of my time and blocked a promotion I earned. The hiring manager said "I do not understand why this is happening, I am so sorry". I left for another opportunity, got caught in an RIF a year later, and the moment I posted about it, the leader I had interviewed with previously reached out. I rejoined and reported to a phenomenal Director of CS who cared big and knew how to lead. She was let go during a planned vacation after 7 years of service. From there, everything spiraled. Her replacement didn’t understand what we did and offered almosyt zero support, some but it was bad. Layoffs became constant. Morale tanked. The culture turned toxic: fear-based, directionless, and devoid of trust.
Pluralsight five years ago was a values-driven org that invested in people. Today, it’s unrecognizable. After being deprioritized by Vista, we were sold (give?) to an "The Investor Group" tied to Blackrock, which clashed with my personal values. I ultimately chose to leave. Browse Other Reviews
