Former Employee Executive leadership was terrible. When the new CEO came in, his vision was to become a data company, not reliant on hardware. The issue? I was selling hardware with a monthly service subscription, which is how we got the data. He often referenced larger competitors as true data companies, yet they also sold hardware the same way. I gave him the benefit of the doubt, thinking I misunderstood. But one month in, I closed a major deal I had worked on for a year, and he killed it without explanation or even the courtesy of a call.
