How would you describe the sales culture at Sentry and how does it contribute to employee satisfaction and success?

I will concur that the Technical Co-Founder, who clearly maintains a large degree of control of the company, has a tendency to make wildly unprofessional statements on LinkedIn. This does include openly trashing sales people in general.

I have never felt less satisfied and less successful than when I worked at Sentry.  Co-founder HATES sales people, so that mindset trickles out to the rest of the Org and as a rep you def feel it. During my time, there was approximately 1 marketing person enthusiastic to help us. The rest of the dept was worthless in terms of any kind of marketing support. The VP would actively and consistently - and I'm being generous with my word choice - "misrepresent" her stats with anything regarding lead gen, MQLs, etc. Overall it's super frustrating b/c there are things the org could do to support sales - like limiting - instead of constantly expanding- the amount of data that users can self-serve and then pushing accounts hitting the limit to reps instead of letting them just pay overages. Instead, they run role-play scenarios about how to increase sales and ask ICs to continuously brainstorm on the topic. They hired a CRO but he seems to lack ideas and GTM  plans. The VP he hired to take the fall figured out it was a setup and fled ASAP. It's not an org that supports a sales team in any shape, form, or fashion.
