"My overall experience was confusing. The acquisition of Slack by Salesforce was intense, confusing and felt like no one had trust that Slack employees could help/benefit the Salesforce company. After some time it became very obvious that all promotions and positions were for Salesforce employees first. Over time when things started to settle down some there were unfair sales target expectations that the majority of reps could not hit. The new Salesforce leadership didn't know how to help and make an impact internally within the Salesforce sales groups. There were lots of changes that at the end of the day it came down to luck whether you were successful at Slack/Salesforce. The overall hybrid culture was good. The people I worked with were really amazing, smart individuals. Things to know, the perks at Salesforce are really good. The stress of the job is very real. Make sure to have healthy ways to reduce your stress. Lastly, internal branding is as important as someone doing their job well.
