Current Employee Very Salesforce-heavy, which makes breaking into greenfield accounts almost impossible—Microsoft shuts that door quickly. The only reps consistently hitting quota are the ones leaning on upsell and cross-sell. If your territory doesn’t have an existing customer base, you’re set up to fail. Day-to-day work is getting bogged down with micro-management, all baked into the Salesforce playbook.
Product direction is glued to Salesforce too, and it swings around every year with a shiny new label at Dreamforce. There’s potential if Salesforce AEs ever start pushing Slack seriously, but that would come at the cost of Slack’s own sales team, who’d suddenly look redundant. Browse Other Reviews
