SoundHound has gone quite a bit downhill since my last review. Many team members are leaving for other opportunities with better culture and compensation.

Leadership lacks clear direction. Directors and Managers are unable to offer the support needed for longer sales cycles, complex product, which lacks product market fit. TAM is inaccurate.

Great environment, great leadership. We're selling in a crowded market with many competitors. Many Enterprise-sized companies are already down the road with Google and AWS so its hard to break in to show something different. We're excited about the acquisition of Interactions and believe that can bring strong differentiation.

Overall the management team sold me on an opportunity that does not feel at all like what I imagined it to be. The experience has been sub-par and I am actively searching a new opportunity. I would be very surprised if SoundHound had a SMB team this time next year.
