Former Employee If you ever interview here for a Hospitality Specialist position, the process is very untraditional.
Rather than a thorough process of vetting whether the person is qualified, it is more of a vibe check. Each interview is short, about 20 minutes each. From a managerial side, I don't really understand how you are able to make sure you are hiring people who are qualified, have attributes that are top performers, and etc.
The role itself isn't a 9-5, to be fair most sales positions aren't, but if you want to do well you are on call 24/7 basically.
In terms of product market fit, it is very difficult for any rep to position themselves on why they are better than Toast, their main competitor. In all honesty, Toast has the superior product. The largest restaurants and chains use it for a reason.
I think this is a very difficult position to succeed in, if you don't already have an established network of business owners locally. Especially when you need to physically drive to each restaurant, it makes it difficult to be efficient. Browse Other Reviews
