The amount of work compared to the compensation is what drove such a low rating for Staples. The 1% raises at the end of the year are unacceptable, and the role is too broad too. The company tried to infiltrate too many industries instead of focusing on its strong points. This resulted in confusion within the role, and constant restructuring of our sales motion.

Leadership is poor. This organization is known for hiring on and laying off frequently without notice. They close entire departments nationwide at the flip of a switch. Multiple departments with thousands of employees canned with an hours notice and all services shut down. Please be very careful before deciding to join the Staples Business Advantage organization.
