Current Employee Stryker is incredible and a dominator within the hospital, it really just depends which business unit you join that determines your success. Sage business unit is going through serious struggles right now with a bleak 2026 outlook. If you do go for a Sage role, look for Infection Prevention as your product bag. Injury prevention is completely commoditized, not winning any new contracts, and the most expensive vs. competition. These hurdles make it really challenging to get your portfolio in the door without getting stopped by value analysis and materials management. In my opinion, look at capital sales like beds and stretchers or emergency care equipment, or pivot into the OR. That’s where Stryker is booming and maximizing its revenue.
