Current Employee TEKsystems is great for the people it’s great for. Most AM’s are handed a parking lot full of no contract, greenfield accounts until someone leaves and you can take over an existing territory. Contract process is horrible, so that adds to the challenge of breaking an account. If you do take over someone’s territory you don’t get their commission even though you can do years of maintenance. TEK also is pulling away from being known as a staffing company to being similar to a Deloitte/Accenture, but that’s not what we’re best at. You have to be a jack of all trades and master of none. A lot of flexibility, but you have to get the right “in” (and no it’s not hard work) to be successful.
