Overall the model and talent network has the potential to make Toptal a leader in the space. Leadership across the organization seems to have conflicting priorities and an overall low understanding of the market and how to grow revenue. There are some incredible people at Toptal both in the talent network and a part of the core team but they are slowly leaving due to the uncertainty and unfocused direction that the current leadership is offering.

Strong value prop with the top 3% but lots of change and leadership turnover. Not a lot of inbound for enterprise, so mostly outbound.

not the highest earning place, but you will have great mental health. They make it easy to succeed, the workflows are seamless, and expectations are very realistic. It's excellent compensation for the amount of work you actually do. Great upward mobility; people are always getting promoted.
