Following a merger, chaos was expected. However, the right leadership and team have just been put in place. There are some customer issues post merger, making an uphill battle. On the positive side, they have a great culture, comprehensive training, and competitive pay. They also have strong positions in the DLP and NDR market. However, other solutions are a bit more challenging to sell.

Trellix was formed through the merger of McAfee and FireEye. Both companies offered industry leading solutions in their heyday. However, Trellix has been slow to enhance their products and are not a market leader with any of their solution offerings. Lots of layoffs, employee, turnover, and senior executives leaving the company.
