I felt the compensation and benefits were a little above average for a SMB/mid-market AE role. The biggest con is that TriNet management says no to about 50% of the companies you bring to the table. You have to have a ton of inbound to be successful, which really depends on your market. The sales managers make the difference, I had a great one, so it was awesome. Many are horrible, and people leave often.

Trinet has good tech but we can’t compete. Our medical pricing is always higher and usually the businesses we deal with are cost conscious. So we lose.
