Current Employee Glory days are gone. Hard sell with not a huge amount of product market-fit and value.
Trustpilot is far more expensive than it’s worth and compared to competitors. £7K a year to display reviews and Trustpilot’s logo is a fit for fewer and fewer companies these days.
An AE’s challenge today is finding accounts who would see the value but with so many on the sales floor, it’s a battle for accounts.
The positive is that selling skills won’t define you here but your ability to consistently source accounts and prospect. A very unique place.
Managers are also poor. Previously high billers who lack coaching ability and empathy. They need replacing as they aren’t on the frontlines with you and instead, all they know is to put pressure on you when you’re not hitting target.
The same managers AEs to PIPs but they always have job security. Where’s the accountability?
