Current Employee My overall experience was really good at Verkada. A great company when trying to break into the tech world. If you’re looking to figure out sales, build your sales acumen and become competent enough to move to other sales organizations without fear, this is a great spot. Teaches the foundation and has a lot of resources readily available to learn at your own demand, but there is a plateau in learning after about 2 years that I feel. Promotion and how they evaluate them need to be different then just hitting quota, since so many quotas in the org are to high for the actual territory itself. Leadership for executives needs to change in order to make this company not churn and burn, and also have a strong IPO. Work culture is great, people are amazing, pay is terrible, but overall this company is great for college grads to blast through a BDR role, and someone with 1-3 years sales experience that is looking to challenge themselves and grow as a sales professional
