Steep learning curve, working for a PE backed company with a buy and build strategy has been interesting in the SME telco, IT / Cyber markets. The integrations of a plethora of teams, cultures and technologies has not been easy for the company, leading to customer dissatisfaction, low staff morale, and revenue challenges. Management are trying their hardest and I’m sure in time it will improve, but overall it’s been a challenging ride for me and the team.

My manager and his manager were both great. Incentive scheme was pretty poor with lots of hidden clauses to avoid paying on certain things. Inbound is shocking, but slowly improving. Data was poor, but slowly improving. Culture was ok, heavily depends on manager. PE backed, who only care about numbers and their balance sheet.

A lot of reps hitting quota, good product market fit as the portfolio covers all of tech essentially. Culture is ok, won’t complain Leadership see you as a cog in the machine. Development and training is excellent, a lot of the specialist and pre sales teams are ridiculously helpful.
