How often does the compensation structure change at ZipRecruiter for sales roles? And how are sales territories typically assigned at the company?

Zip is the only company I have ever worked for who cant figure out how to put toghther an ENT level quota. Every quarter it changes and you typically dont know what it is until halfway through the quarter. For the Strategic AM teams they quotas go up each quarter 20-35% with no new products to sell. Each year you sell more and make less money. Its unreal.

Depends on the sales role/level.  Typically, not much change overall (recently went thru an Org restructure and it changed) but the commission payouts vary also by team, all uncapped, but paid out on different percentages. Territories can be assigned based on experience and also what's available at the time you're hired. There can be 'book' changes on a quarterly basis to bring new perspectives as well, but that's not a frequent change.

ZipRecruiter has an SMB team and ENT team. I can't speak to ENT. But for the SMB teams (Inside Sales) the commission rate is 50% of the first month's sale. This has never changed. Quotas have gone up incrementally over the years but no more than 10% every 2-3 years.

Lead assignment depends on the department. But generally speaking, leads are scored from a scale of 1-100 based on numerous factors and assigned to reps accordingly (top tier reps get the 90+ leads, for example).
