Tom Siebel is a well respected tital of Silicon Valley and is brilliant. C3 products are excellent, the potential market is solid, and the general talent of rank and file employees is extremely high. That said, management expectations are often unrealistic and getting into new accounts is extremely difficult.

Culture of fear mongering, fragile egos in leadership, force reps to commit deals that aren't ready then decrease their commission because they missed their commitment. Extreme micromanagement, no real leaders. Other teams (pre-sales, alliances, etc.) get to decide if a sales person is fired or not, but sales has no input on other teams.
