Former Employee Horrific sales organization to be a part of now, especially given that there has been several rounds of layoffs just this year. Fired the entire Mid-Market team and then turned around and hired 3 more AE’s just a few weeks later. New leadership is clueless (especially in the sales department) who have zero industry experience in the ecommerce space with no idea how the technology works. The BDR department is nonexistent, the team went from 10+ at the start of the year to just 1 or 2 now in the states.
The technology was disruptive years ago but is no longer competitive in the market now. The product is to complicated and competitors have caught up / surpassed them in several ways.
Nobody in the sales org will come even close to hitting quota in 2025, and they will raise quota again next year after missing the mark this bad to make up for it.
Run, don’t walk away from this place if you want to work in ecommerce. I implore anyone reading this to look into Shopify, BigCommerce or any other company with an experienced leadership team who’ve worked in the industry.
