There was little to no training, when there was training gossip about other teams or coworkers was always apart of the meetings. Droplet prides themselves on a low key work environment, “unlimited PTO” and “life comes first, work comes second” which in the end, was not true. When life got in the way, they fired me with no warning, and blindsided me. My manager didn’t protect me and when I asked for help she was not able to guide me in a direction to hit my quota. The meeting I was fired on was called “June planning” and the VP of sales came into the meeting with the camera off and fired me. Says a lot about the leadership there. Didn’t ask what he could help me with and wasn’t willing to work with me and train me. My AE was happy with the results I was getting, but because I didn’t hit quota one time, they told me I couldn’t stay on. This company is full of false narratives and empty promises.
