How would you describe the cultural aspects of the sales team at Everbridge?

I believe the new leadership is trying to build a better culture. However, when sales are down the culture goes with it. I have seen several rounds of layoffs in the sales department. They keep "restructuring" and now that they have removed the team that helps sales teams solution complex situations, it will get more frustrating for sales people.

The Sales culture at Everbridge is the worst that anyone has ever seen.  In the last 3 years there have been 4 different CEO's David Meredith, Patrick Brinkley / Vernon Irvin and lastly David Wagner.  Wagner removed the entire Diverse CXO team and replaced them with his old white pals.  They are a hands off, non employee facing, self enriching group that has managed to drop the stock price to all time low while rewarding themselves.

My local manager is terrific.  Above them, their direct manager is also good.  Above them, I do not hear from the other sales leaders in email or anywhere.

I believe the culture is work hard, close deals, do whatever else you would like, including as much time off as you need.

Successful reps are happy and jubilant, the non-successful reps are obviously worried about job security, rightfully so.

I would say the culture is really good. The new CEO and CRO are both grown ups who just want to get a job well done without creating dramas or fostering big egos. They are both strong family guys so the work life balance is positive too. That attitude seems to flow down through the business.
