Current Employee Second attempt — as the CRO is actively trying to bury the reviews.
From an up round to a down round. Classic hire-and-fire at its finest.
The CRO is running a chaotic experiment, not a company. He overhired without rationale, touts team growth on podcasts, and boasts about “building the best cyber team” — yet has no real connection to the sellers on the ground. He doesn’t understand pipeline inputs, builds strategy on flawed data, and brags about “20x 90-day pipeline coverage” (LinkedIn) while ignoring the fact that none of it converts to revenue. His leadership style? Micromanaging dial counts, disengaging from deals, and making inappropriate comments on team calls.
Not sure he’s noticed the word revenue in his title.
The VP of Sales? Promoted despite underperformance, then led the disastrous DACH expansion — growing from 5 to 11 reps only to slash it back down to 4 within months. When asked for help, his answer was: “118 meetings in a quarter.” He didn’t deliver results, didn’t lead, chased titles — and now he’s gone.
The new CBO — questionable title, but finally steering it back on track.
