Current Employee I've been with the company for a while, as our business unit was one of the first acquisitions. This is a software & payments sales role, and if you have good software, it's an easy sell. Fullsteam provides the payments integration and the checkbook. Sales dev wise, there's a strong focus on professional development via Sandler, a brilliant training program. Compensation wise, 2024 was a mess. They tried to standardize sales comp for 85 separate software companies. It wasn't pretty. Comp plans do not fully reflect the work that the business unit sales reps do for the company. They only pay commission on new software business, but not upgrades. Payments commission is quarterly bonus, and there's no commission on renewals. The program is lacking, and needs tweaking to make it great.
Leadership wise, the company is private equity, so the name of the game is profit over people. It's not even thinly veiled...the C-suite is hungry -starving, even- for their payout and it shows. They offer help to close deals, but then take days to respond to requests. They push bogus fees to clients, unannounced. Poor business practices... all for the almighty dollar.
