Line management and business unit will define your experience. There are some very good VPs but many in sales leadership have little to no people management skills which leads to a higher than industry average rate of attrition.

My overall experience was extremely poor. ELT was brought in from another company under the same PE firm and they appointed sales leaders within the circle of friends. Churn is astronomical as the customer base is livid with the management style on the price increase tactic.

No ramp, no non-recoverable draw, no ESPP, low product market fit. Annual quota pro-rated if you start mid-year, but your quota could be $15k Month 1. Not a mature sales organization. It’s a great role for AE experience but Quotas raised when no one hit the year before. They are mean to incentivize here not so much achieve. Great org for AM - existing business. Many over achieve. Honestly great job this route… Leadership is out of touch with a very high turnover. Worried about their own security too much to focus on you really.
