A lot of hoops and thumbs up had to be secured internally before an opportunity makes it to the internal CRM system, let alone engaging externally with a prospective or an existing client.

Incentives make quota fairly easy to hit but regular OTE (without winning internal sales competitions) after a maxed-out quota is still below market rate base pay.
