Reviewing an Enterprise Field Seller role for 'install' accounts. AWS has been a good place to work the past 5+ years. Lots of talent, bright minds and hard workers. In 2024 there was a re-org and territories are no longer geo-based. Quota was set too high, a majority of spifs were removed and genAI was over indexed. A majority of sellers are missing quota this FY. Sellers are now being asked to be back in the office when not visiting customers. This is causing meaningful frustration amongst sales. All that being said ... overall morale is down. Leadership needs change their RTO policy for field sellers and align sellers with accounts in their respective geo.
