Overall the culture is the worst I've ever seen....It can certainly vary depending on the team you end up on but from what I have seen it's a pretty tough place to work.  Very few reps will even touch 50% of their quota.  Due to this fact and poor leadership on many teams turnover is very high.

Leadership really doesn't drive success. The sales culture is lacking. Most employees are remote and the interaction you have with team members and other sales reps is basically all on slack messaging with the occasional monthly or quarterly zoom calls.  Trainings are mostly online courses with very little to no coaching. Honestly there is A LOT to be desired in that area. This causes a good amount of turnover. Also, do to the fact that we are now run by a Private equity firm in Thoma Bravo....things are worse. Quota's are unrealistic with a common trend of less than 25% of reps hitting their goals.

It's more of a go find resources and material yourself to try to succeed.  The key there being "TRY".

I would echo some of the same sentiments answered already here but I'll add my two cents:

The sales team as a whole is fragmented into verticals but some operate with better sub-cultures than others.  The training or enablement is abundant... but it's really what you put in is what you get out. Some of it is overkill, some of it is helpful, and some of it is rehashing the same thing you've likely seen 100s of times before.

I do believe there is a real drive to build a better culture for the sales team but after several rough years in SaaS... the pressure to perform is REAL.

Sales leadership has made it very clear if you follow their strategy, following the script, they will support you through a lackluster quarter or year. But you need to show that you're working hard - there is no place at Anaplan for passive sales. The product is next-level and has finally had some real breakthrough developments but despite being a leader in many categories, it's not a product that sells itself and you can't just sit back idly and collect a paycheck.

Leadership wants you to succeed, and they have made it clear they are available to you to help align exec support, etc so I think the support is 100% there.
