Former Employee Early on in my structured sales career, I had the opportunity to work at Angi, then HomeAdvisor in NYC.
Overall a positive experience but I will say sales is not for everyone…the people, the culture and the overall experience was a good one.
Achievements: 90-100% customer retention in my entire time there.
Cons: learning the cold way to sale- incubator, cold calling then prospecting and really mastering the script without deviation. Cold calling does cause burnout so for the newer reps opportunities to change teams or top tier rep led pep talks would have been ideal.
