Former Employee You can get a meeting with anyone when you work there - big titles will take a call just to see if they can get any product roadmap out of you. There is no, I repeat no inkling of knowing a roadmap there. This drives enterprise buyers crazy who want to be able to plan out their purchases for years in advance and know that things are going to still be available for replacements & break/fix. Also, legal is non-existent for enterprise, forget ever getting even an NDA in place with a customer. Everything is sold through channel partners to offset risk - which is fine, you just have to manage that relationship and it doesn't allow for much in the way of creative deal shaping or incentives to pull in deals for fiscal timelines. The fact is, enterprise sales is not the focus at Apple, and features that are meaningful to enterprise are definitely not prioritized. Browse Other Reviews
