Former Employee2.4May 20, 2024Like most companies, BMC can be great place to work but it really depends on what team you are on and what product you are selling. BMC has 3 pillars and DBA and iZoT do well but it’s tough being on DSOM as ServiceNow really dominates that space

Current Employee3.4May 29, 2025The company split into two orgs in April and the result is too be determined. I'm on the Helix side and feel optimistic about our chances for success. But we lose frequently to our biggest competitor and focus too much on clients to meet quota. The company has very little lead flow or BDR support for the sales role. Culture is healthy and diversity is strong.

Leadership is good, however, it has become more and more "micro-managing" in the last 6 months. There are lots of top down initiatives since the CRO left that have focused on cuts and limiting additional spend. I believe this has started a trickle down effect...Read More
