Canon was a great company but as demand for the product reduced, so did the comp structure. We struggle to retain talent and customers are not willing to pay more for a product like a copier due to inflation. Leadership have lacked strategies to combat the shrinking market. Changes in the workforce need to be made but the Japanese do not like the world layoff. Eventually something will happen.

It was ok. The market is saturated and you're often selling your own products against dealers in a price driven market. Expect 3 to 4 years of pure prospecting regardless of existing equipment in field.

My overall experience at this organization was a pretty positive one. The culture was very competitive but fair. When COVID-19 happened, the printing market took a big hit, prompting my departure from the industry. I enjoyed my time at CSA and gained a lot of valuable experience from this role.
