Canon was a great company but as demand for the product reduced, so did the comp structure. We struggle to retain talent and customers are not willing to pay more for a product like a copier due to inflation. Leadership have lacked strategies to combat the shrinking market. Changes in the workforce need to be made but the Japanese do not like the world layoff. Eventually something will happen.

It’s sales. A lot of prospecting but there is definitely a team element to help close deals and move through the pipeline. Training is a sink or swim format but with guidance and oversight from the sales manager
