Coming to Cornerstone through acquisition was not a pleasant experience. M&A culture drives Cornerstones ELT, and some of those acquisitions have not benefited the software or the customers. There have been significant RIFs across the board in 2024. The Cornerstone platform has evolved into Frankenstein software.

Strong vision and tenured commercial leadership (stable, care about their people etc.). Product (and internal processes) needs modernisation though there is limited scope for advancement. Having said that there is a good culture (remote working, flexible, regular trips for events / SKO / Club etc). Overall a solid place to work!

Sales culture has decreased drastically. Compensation plans are not motivating, and Cornerstone has to find its momentum as a HR tech leader again. The change has to happen at the top.
