leadership is not great, lack of support all around: marketing, service, implementation, product. Product is years behind and they want you to sell the dream.

New software sales management inexperienced with compliance industry, market and product. But company is making some progress in software sales (transitioning from transactional market) and has a good/reputable name within the compliance industry. Recent cuts in variable comp plan has lowered moral.
