It has been a great learning experience to have my role. It’s tailored to an individual that is new to medical device and is single with no kids. My role has put me in hotel room over 90 nights a year. Our products are top notch and synonymous with orthopedic trauma, however leadership is phasing out the “Synthes” brand and bringing in JNJ Medtech. In my role specifically you have no control over your earning potential, and for that reason it’s hard to remain motivated to sale.

Executive leadership is atrocious. Compensation can be good, but the changes every six months make it difficult to have consistent achievements. Pay is often incorrect or convoluted. Products are good and there are pockets of great leadership and experience but you have to look for them.
