Current Employee Compensation team will change the plan and subjectively not pay people based on criteria not in the comp plan. Finance and compensation are a two headed snake whose job it is to reduce how much they pay you. If they focused as much on developing products customers actually wanted versus going after account executives, they might have more success. Toxic blame culture where only AEs are accountable.
