Fortinet is a good company with an industry-leading firewall product. It's much harder to sell the other 50+ products in the portfolio. You will have zero inbound leads from SDRs as they are non-existent and will rely more on prospecting and partners to find new deals. The training is poor, compensation is decent but not industry-leading. They do cover your cell phone, internet, travel. Like many sales roles, it depends on your territory.

low compensation, don't promote from within, current field reps are not good and fly under the radar, management and leadership don't look out for you

Leadership is trash, base pay sucks, no upward mobility for over 1.5 years within the org. They have a problem retaining great talent. The Products are fantastic though.
