Lots of churn within SMB/MSE. They hire mostly out of college and the average tenure is less than a year. Most teams have 1 or 2 people hit quota and the rest are left with scraps. Management is very young and doesn't stay in a role long. Dog eat dog where you do what it takes to keep moving up while the rest of the team is low morale and they will PIP you if you don't hit quota even when it's clearly out of your control in most cases.

My overall experience at Gartner was primarily reflective of the outstanding culture and leadership team that I had supporting me! Could not speak more highly of a place to work from a people perspective.

Supportive, sharing sales culture in GBS, but a lot of fake positivity also. HR buyers need Gartner less now post Covid. Also worked on GTS, surprised how few team members made Winners Circle in ‘23 in HR vs GTS. Gartner seems to be in a mode of shorter management patience, especially if you have a higher base.
