HPE is a challenging place to work. Product fit is very high, but the company struggled internally. The sales culture was toxic and uncertain. Depending on who was in the leadership role at that time, goals and incentives changed constantly. I never had the same account list for two years in a row, making relationships incredibly challenging to build. Compensation was also much lower than competition. Not a bad company, but not a good sales culture and there's a reason why I am no longer there.

Market share dropping like a rock. Different vision, approach every year thus lacking consistency. Increasing the virtual sales approach to the commercial patch will spell the death of those field reps very soon.
