I've had numerous experiences at IBM and the experiences vary significantly based on product/industry alignment and manager. I've had managers that actually care about life outside of work and they were the best. The ones that only talk to you once a week for cadence but don't make a personal connection are annoying at best. Overall it's a great place to start and/or develop a career if you're in the right spaces that have leadership investment and support.

Training isn't as amazing as it used to be touted for. Depending on product area you'll have a better or worse time selling to the same territory.
