Working in sales at Indeed can be extremely rewarding/exciting when the economy is strong (2016-2021 was great) but 2021-present has been very challenging for a lot of people. Since indeed works on a PPC pricing model, volatility in the job market can lead volatility within an Indeed account, or even immediate churn. We have fixed books, so if several accounts churn (or even 1 huge account) it will lead to a very tough quarter - or even a tough year..the fixed books feel very luck based.

WIth how the current economic landscape, it's been very challenging to say the least. Despite this and a very low base salary, the bonuses and multipliers, when you're hitting, make it worth staying here. Leadership and culture is pretty good within the sales org.
